2. Information We Collect
2.1 Files and Content You Process
FileFusion employs a hybrid approach to processing to ensure both speed and security:
- Local Processing: Tools like OCR (Tesseract.js based) and certain image operations process files entirely in your browser. These files never leave your device.
- Secure Backend Processing: Tools requiring complex algorithms (like Text Comparison for large files or File Compression) use our secure backend nodes.
Our Policy for Backend Files: When files are sent to our servers, they are encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and processed within volatile RAM. We never write your data to persistent storage, and files are automatically deleted as soon as the results are returned to you.
